Yoga in Jackson Hole

One of my favorite things to do while traveling is checking out local yoga studios. It not only keeps the yoga juices flowing but allows me the opportunity to practice with a brand new instructor. There's always something new to learn or a different way to teach a pose that I find of value. On my trip to Jackson Hole, I took an Anusara class at Akasha Yoga Studio with Sundari. We had an 'it's a small world' moment when she told me that she lived in Maui for a month with one of my favorite instructors, Skeeter at the Studio Maui.

Surfers Seek Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park

Mike and I have landed in one of the most beautiful places that I've ever visited. Jackson Hole Wyoming in the summer turning to fall season. Mike is here for a photography workshop and we had the day to play before it begins this evening. 
We ventured out to Yellowstone National Park where I wanted to show Mike, Old Faithful. We didn't anticipate such a long drive to get there but nonetheless it was a gorgeous and long drive.
We saw a black bear on the way which was my personal highlight. The geyser angels were with us that afternoon. As soon as we stepped out of the car upon our arrival to Old Faithful, we were greeted with a spectacular eruption. With 5 minutes to spare before having to head back to Mike's photography workshop we luckily got to witness this magnificent sight. Later, I read that Old Faithful erupts once every 90 minutes so we were indeed lucky.

Birthday Time on the Mainland.

Happy Birthday to my sweet and handsome hubby, Mike! Mike turned the big 31 today. We had a very nice dinner in Jackson at the Snake River Grill. It was a mountain, fine dining experience and the food was deeee-lish! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

Lake Tahoe No Slippah's Required

Lake Tahoe, a place that is a must on our stop to the mainland. My husband, Mike, and I enjoyed a couple of days in nature and were greeted with the best weather and activities. We met up and stayed with a SwellWomen alumni, Mary Abelow and her husband Steve Abelow. If you ever need an orthopedic in Tahoe, Steve is the one to go to!
We enjoyed rock climbing. It was my second time ever and such a challenge. Everything hurt the next morning including my finger tips. Would I do it again? Yes, of course.

Japanese Tapas, Friends and Good Time in Los Angeles

I love nothing more than eating Japanese food but I really go crazy over eating Japanese food with great friends...not only Japanese food but Japanese tapas, not only great friends but friends that feel like family.

Here comes Hawaii

Time to get off paradise and travel to the mainland. My husband and I enjoy heading off the island a couple of times a year to visit friends/ family and to become inspired with new creative ideas for both our businesses. 

First stop, Los Angeles.
